Skier’s Breakfast Burrito | Beaumont Bakery Recipe & Tips

On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mostly on newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley—and Beaumont is one of those must-includes. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito and remembered exactly why it belongs on this list.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time recreating in the Wasatch Front—skiing, hiking, or biking—Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before heading out. I frequently grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and accessible without sacrificing quality. While many Mexican spots offer drive-through burritos, they can sometimes be greasy and heavy; Beaumont’s version feels lighter and more balanced, which matters when you’re about to be active.

The breakfast burrito at Beaumont is filled with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What really elevates it is the sauce—because the secret to a great breakfast burrito is always the sauce. The creamy tomatillo-escabeche dressing adds brightness and depth, tying the ingredients together and giving the burrito a memorable finish.

Tucked between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers much more than a great breakfast burrito. Alongside solid coffee and fresh pastries, they also serve standout items like a creamy burrata salad. It’s the kind of reliably good neighborhood spot that works for a quick takeout stop before an outdoor adventure or a relaxed sit-down meal.

A small heads-up: good food attracts crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. Weekends often bring lines and people lingering on the patio. If you only want coffee and pastries, the line shouldn’t deter you—grabbing essentials or using the drive-through is quick. If you plan to sit and enjoy the space, especially on a weekend, expect a short wait. The patio and thoughtfully designed interior are worth it, though; the atmosphere complements the menu and makes Beaumont an easy recommendation.
