Big Mac Sliders are a miniature take on the classic fast-food burger: juicy mini patties topped with pickles, onions, shredded lettuce, and a tangy “special” sauce, all tucked into buttery slider buns. These sliders work perfectly as appetizers, party finger food, or a casual meal the whole family will enjoy.

Big Mac Sliders
Sliders are handheld, crowd-pleasing bites ideal for parties, potlucks, game day or a quick lunch or dinner. Serve these cheeseburger-style sliders with fries, tater tots, or a simple side salad for an easy, satisfying meal.

Ingredients:
- Mayonnaise – can substitute Miracle Whip if desired.
- French dressing – store-bought works, or make your own.
- Sweet pickle relish
- Onion powder
- Dijon mustard
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Ground beef – 80/20 is recommended for juiciness; ground chicken or turkey can be used instead.
- Pepper
- Sliced American cheese – Cheddar or Swiss are fine alternatives.
- Shredded lettuce – iceberg works well.
- Sweet onion – slice red, yellow, or white onion as preferred.
- Slider buns – Hawaiian rolls add a touch of sweetness.
- Sliced bread and butter pickles – dill pickles are an acceptable substitute.
- Salted butter
- Sesame seeds

Supplies:
- Mixing bowls
- Whisk
- Plastic wrap
- Stirring spoon
- Casserole dishes or baking dish
- Pastry brush

Instructions:
Make the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, French dressing, sweet relish, onion powder, Dijon mustard, garlic powder and salt. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate while you prepare the sliders so the flavors meld.

Prepare the meat. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, pepper and onion powder. Mix gently until the seasonings are evenly distributed—avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.
Form and bake the patty. Press the seasoned beef into a rectangle in a 9×13 (or appropriately sized) baking dish or sheet pan. Bake 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. The meat will shrink slightly, which helps it fit the slider buns.
Top with cheese. Remove the meat from the oven, lay the cheese slices over the top, then return to the oven for about 5 minutes until the cheese melts. Remove and keep the patty warm in a covered dish. Rinse the baking dish briefly if you plan to use it to assemble the sliders.
Tip
Give your 9×13 dish a quick wash before assembling the sliders if it still has grease or residue.

Assemble the sliders. Place the bottom halves of the slider buns in a clean 9×13 dish. Spread about half of the chilled special sauce over the bottoms, then add the shredded lettuce.

Add the patty and toppings. Break or cut the rectangular patty to fit over the buns, then layer sliced onions and pickles on top. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the pickles and onions.

Finish and bake briefly. Add the tops of the slider buns. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds. If you like, place the assembled sliders in the oven for a few minutes to warm through and set the butter.

Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container within one hour and refrigerate. Sliders will keep for 3–4 days. They’re also delicious cold if you prefer to enjoy them straight from the fridge.

Notes
Can I make my own dressing? Yes—homemade French dressing works well, but quality bottled dressings are a fine shortcut when time is limited.
What baking dish size should I use? Use a 9×13 pan if your beef is fattier (80/20) because it will shrink more. Leaner beef can fit in a slightly smaller dish.
