Welcome to day three of the Homemade with Love blog and video series! Today I’m sharing an easy recipe for candy drizzled popcorn. It’s a fast, crowd-pleasing treat that’s perfect for parties, family movie nights, or packaged as party favors. You’ll only need a few simple ingredients:
- popped popcorn (regular or kettle corn)
- candy melts in your choice of colors
- candy sprinkles or sanding sugar for topping

Watch the short video below to see how simple the process is.
When the popcorn is finished, serve it in small cups for immediate snacking.

If you plan to give the popcorn as favors or gifts, package it in clear bags or small boxes for a polished look. Clear bags and small boxes are great for gifting and make the popcorn look extra festive.

Ingredients
- 1 bag of popped popcorn (or kettle corn)
- Candy melts in your choice of colors
- Candy toppings such as sanding sugar, sprinkles, or nonpareils
Instructions
- Spread a sheet of parchment or waxed paper on a flat surface and spread the popcorn in a single even layer.
- Melt the candy melts following the package directions, using short intervals in the microwave or a double boiler for even melting.
- Use a spoon to drizzle the melted candy over the popcorn, working quickly so the candy doesn’t set before you finish.
- Sprinkle your chosen toppings over the popcorn while the candy is still wet so they stick.
- Allow the candy to harden completely, then break the popcorn into clusters by hand.
- Serve immediately, or package in bags or boxes for gifting.
