Easy dark chocolate peppermint bark recipe made with Andes peppermint pieces.

I’ve always enjoyed learning online—especially courses I can take at home. In college I picked up several online classes when I could, and I love the convenience of studying from pajamas. When I discovered Craftsy, a community offering craft and food courses, I was eager to explore what they offered.
Craftsy provided a variety of classes—from cake decorating to paper crafts and food gifts. I watched the Sweet & Savory Food Gifts course, which included a segment on making chocolate bark and tempering chocolate. That lesson inspired me to make a batch of dark chocolate peppermint bark for my daughter’s Christmas program. The course even shows how to make the traditional layered peppermint bark if you prefer that version.
The course includes not only video tutorials but also printable gift tags, recipes, and a metric conversion guide. You can ask questions and receive personalized feedback, participate in group discussions, and share photos of completed projects. The videos are split into short segments that are easy to bookmark and revisit later—perfect for busy parents like me who need to pause and resume often.
