Apricot Rooibos Tea — Gluten-Free Recipe

dried apricots,
halved -

teaspoons
loose-leaf rooibos tea,
or 2 rooibos tea bags
Instructions

Bring 2 cups (about 480 ml) of water to a boil. Put the halved apricots and the rooibos tea into a French press or a large heatproof mug. Pour the boiling water over the ingredients, cover, and steep for 5 to 7 minutes to extract the apricot aroma and rooibos flavor. Press the plunger of the French press or strain the infusion through a fine mesh, discarding the solids. Serve the tea hot, or let it cool and pour over ice for a refreshing iced tea. Sweeten lightly if desired.
